well I am only about 4 minutes into testing google chrome, but so far so good. Some neat things about it, that I have found, are for each process a regular browser uses like java and html Google chrome has it on different “Strings” so one process cant interrupt another. Say for example youre loading BrownPocket.com and youre browser is having difficulty loading the links on the right side of the page. Not a problem says Google Chrome we have you covered. The rest of the page will load by its self while the buttons will continue to try and load.
This “Multi-string” process will also allow for pages to load quicker because each process has its own job to do and its done at the same time instead of waiting on the previous process to finish. What does this mean for people who are bored at work? It means that you can surf through youtube AND correlate faster than ever before!
In reality though it doesnt seem that much different than Mozilla(im writing this in Mozilla and surfing with Chrome on my other screen ) though the animations with opening different tabs are more entertaining i havent used it long enough to really explore every fascit.
In summary, Google Chrome is for anyone easy to use but nothing new, id only fully switch over if someone from Mozilla were to offend me personally.
